Because I don't have children, people think I have hours of free time that I need to fill. Because I'm a sucker I let people get away with this. And so, I've now been roped into joining a number of committees with some requiring me to spend my evening in meetings.
Tonight was just such a night.
At the same time, my darling husband invited friends to dinner tomorrow night, and the house was a MESS! I was not looking forward to a long day at work, followed by an extra meeting, followed by hours of cleaning. But when I got home from my meeting I walked into a CLEAN house! All I had to do was wipe down the stove and enjoy a cup of tea.
